Backtrack... IPSY JUNE BAG!

Id like to continue on with showing my IPSY bags, they are so great and fun.  This is last months!  June was probably my favourite bag so far, everything was to die for <3  For anyone who doesn't know the bags cost $10.  If your in the USA it's free shipping.  For us in Canada the shipping is about $4 making an approximate grand total of $14/month shipped.

The theme for the June 2013 bag was "On the Wild Side".  I LOVE this bag, its sooooo cute!  Favourite bag design in the history of ipsy, that's for sure!!!

ITEM 1. Star Looks lip pencil in colour "Tickle me Pink".  I'm not much of a lipstick person so this may or may not get used.  I don't have any lip pencils right now so its nice to have!  It may be too pink for me but we shall see.  This item retails for $12.00 and we received a full size in the June Bag.

ITEM 2. NYX Cream Blush in colour Hot Pink .  I love cream makeup, it looks so flawless <3 So this is something I would use.  I have tried it and its a nice colour, it doesn't look TOO pink.   This item retails for $6.00 and we did get a full size product!

ITEM 3. J Cat Sparkle Cream Palette - DO not be fooled by this, its not eyeshadow!  Its basically body glitter.  I would love to use it as shadow since I'm all down with the sparkle shadows but the label says not to use it on eyes :( This is probably the least likely product that id use!  Probably save it for Halloween or something!  Retails for $4.49 and its a full size product!

ITEM 4. J Cat Eye lashes. Eeeeekkkk i love falsies!  Can this bag be any more perfect? YAY for this item!!!  They are decently priced to making this a plus - It even comes with lash glue!  Retails for $3.99 and is a full size product!

ITEM 5. Best for last: Caitlyn Gel Eye Liner in colour Iron.   This item comes with its own built in brush!  Its a beautiful coal colour and Ive used 10 zillion times already and its probably my most favourite item in this months bag.  It retails for $21.00 on its own which already pay for this months bag twice over!


All together the total value of the bag this month was about $47.48USD and i paid $14CAD. 

TTC and Life Update (#itfeelslikeupdateonemillion)

Hello friends!

Ive been meaning to through a quick update here, ive had a few relolations happen since i was last here! If youve watched my most recent ttc vlog then you will know that I am now in my 20th cycle of TTCing.   Also, I have been on metformin 4x a day for PCOS.  Most recently i've started Femera. 

So far im on day 4 of Femera with my first medicated cycle.   Its exciting knowing that i may have a slightly better chance of getting prego this time around!  From what ive read it may take a few cycles but im really HOPING!   So heres my summary,

TODAY  im on CD 6
20th cycle of TTC
1st medicated cycle: taking Femera 2.5mg for 5 days starting on CD 3
Still taking Metformin 500mg x4 per day
AF started on July 15th! with 2 days of spotting prior
Today my temp was 36.09C
We are doing every other day (basically sperm mets egg method)
im HOPING <3
If i get my order soon from early pregnancy tests then im going to start my OPKs on CD 10
Temping and charting!


The whole family moved again.  This time we have a 3 bedroom detached house.  Its beautiful, it has a yard, a park behind us, quiet street, lots of young families, we even bought lawn furniture :)  We have a nice big living room, an eat in dining room and our kitchen has beautiful dark cabnets.  The bathroom is much bigger but now we only have 1.  The boys each have a bigger room!  Our room is probobly the same size or even smaller but everything fits so much better.  We are very happy now!  We even hung photos and curtins which we never did at the other place!  Id like to do tour video sometime real soon! 

I still work ALOT but we've been trying to make the most of summer.  We have had family over, done swimming.  Seems like theres a guest over everyday!

IPSY BAG - MAY 2013

So thanks to one of the lovely YtubeTTCers, I subscribed to IPSY.com :)  When you subscribe you receive a cool make up bag filled with goodies!!!  I watched her videos on the unboxing of the bag so i thought id give it a try.

I ordered on May 16, 2013 and received my first bag on May 25, 2013.  Now apparently subscriptions are mailed out on the 15th of each month so mine likely didn't get shipped till a few days after i signed up!  The cost of the bag is $10/month and shipping is free in the USA.  Since I'm in Canada i paid a small shipping fee no more then $4.  So my total was approx $14. 

Here is what i got in the mail: a hot pink package :D very pretty!

 At first look in the bag i see all of the May goodies - As a side note u get 5-6 items per bag, some are sample size some are full size.  You do a quiz when you sign up with IPSY and they determine which items best suite you!

FIRST ITEM: Zoya Nail Polish -In GIE GIE pink # ZP651
This Item retails for $8 on their website and comes in a zillion colours!  I got pink in my bag and ill definitely use this colour.  Its a nice feminine pink that would look nice on finger or toes nails!  Comes in a pretty box as well :)  I received a full size product!

ITEM 2: St.Tropez Instant glow body lotion (washable tanner).

This item retails for $15 on their website and they have other options to chose from as well as other types of tanners.  When you open it up the lotion looks a very dark brown.   Don't be scared by this cause it actually goes on very sheer.  We all know I like to be brown so ill definitely use this!!  They have larger sizes available so i assume this is a sample size however it seems like you get a fair bit in the sample.

ITEM 3: Macadamia Healing oil Treatment for hair
This item retails for $13.50 and is one of many sizes the website offers (therefore can be seen as full size product).  They range from $6 to $75 for the largest bottle. It smells great however I've never used this kind of oil before.  It says it can be used as a finisher however if i dont use it, it may be in a giveaway in the future :)

ITEM 4: JUICE Beauty Lipgloss in  Champagne #1J3
This items retails for $15!!!  This is by far my favourite item!  Its dead on, the kind of product i buy and even in a colour id typically get.  It looks amazing over a super light pink! AHHH i love this <3 <3  This is a full size product!

ITEM 5: YABY Concealer in buff #cc008
This item retails for $4.95 and can be bought as a full size refill.  I'm very lucky cause this is pretty damn close to my colour so ill actually be able to use it! YAY!

So there you have it, MAY 2013 IPSY bag :)  I paid $14 and got a bag worth more then $56.35 (and that's not including the cost of the bag itself!  This was definitely worth the cost i paid and if you like make-up then its totally worth it!  Might I add that most of these products were natural/organic :)

TTC, cycle 18, metformin = fail

ughh well here we go into cycle 18

Can you all believe that for 18 cycles i haven't had ANY pregnancies?  This infertility stuff isn't so exciting.   If anything, its as horrible as it looks in movies.  I'm starting to wonder if ill even be able to get pregnant.... maybe ill have to do IUI/IVF.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its so frustrating!

My metformin isnt going so well either.  I feel sick all the time if i don't eat.   I'm wondering if the pills are even working.  it should work something like this:

higher then normal glucose > high insulin levels > take pill > lower insulin > good ovulation

but to me it looks something like this:

higher then normal glucose > high insulin levels > take pill > eat! > sugar increases even more> ????


I'm so ready to try something new.  I have my next appointment with the doctor on June 20.   It feels so damn far away!!!!!!  :(


In other new my two best friends both had their babies.  Spring had her little boy last Saturday, she names him Liam.  My BFF had her little girls on Sunday and names her Kaniya!   I was there with her from Friday -Sunday.  Spend a million hours at the hospital sitting around.  She had 2 rounds of the gel to ripen her cervix with 2 fails :(  She finally got going into labour on Sunday!   And she used her superhuman powers to push that baby out with 3 rounds of pushes.  It was AMAZING to see.  That little girls is just so sweet i wanna steal her <3 <3  

Its so strange that i was TTCing way before them, they both have went through pregnancies and births in that time.  So NOT fair :(   I'm glad they have her bebes but i just cant wait for my turn :( I guess I'm just being a sore loser :( wahhh

A quick TTC update
- last cycle was only 26 days
- unusually light AF x2 months
- short Luteal Phase of 9-10 days x2months
- currently on CD8
- started on some new herbal supps to help my short LP
- i began temping yesterday but forgot to today :( opps

Life Update
- tried on wedding dresses this week :)
- decided on a wedding venue
- working full time hours despite my oncall status
- every weekend in august is filling up real fast!
